An international Hindu coalition of leadership for Mother Earth

With each passing year we see increasing signs that Mother Earth is suffering. Climate change, loss of wildlife and forests, pollution, and many more concerns are damaging the health of the planet and people everywhere. 

For thousands of years Hindu communities have been at the forefront of protecting and caring for Mother Earth. As Hindus, we are taught to help the vulnerable and to serve in times of crisis. At this moment, the Earth needs us. 

In late 2022 we plan to launch a new international coalition of Hindu communities, groups and leaders who have committed to protecting and restoring the health of Mother Earth. 

 From May - October 2022 Bhumi Global will work closely with coalition members to: 

  • Understand the latest science about climate change, biodiversity and pollution, and international efforts underway to address them 

  • Develop long term plans for environmental action and advocacy 

  • Connect with policy makers, activists and leading environmentalists 

  • Share best practice and knowledge from local, national and international groups 

  • Connect with each other to form a community of like minded and supportive Hindus concerned about the future of Mother Earth
